Job Purpose
The Partnerships Activation Specialist will play an active role in the growth, activation and product evolution strategy for the Skywards Everyday portfolio. Plan, negotiate, and design strategic and tactical promotional activities for Skywards Everyday. Brief Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand Department (CCMB) to translate and implement activities through communications and campaign plans. Collaborate with stakeholders within Emirates Skywards, CCMB and Partners to identify opportunities to increase partner engagement and maximize revenue contribution.
In this role you will:
GENERIC
- Develop and optimize annual and quarterly growth and activation plans in alignment with the Partnerships Account Leads, CCMB, Partnerships Activation team members and Partners. Identify cross-selling spaneting opportunities to develop holistic member propositions and drive ROI.
- Project manage the spaneting streams for product and partnership launches in collaboration with CCMB, Partner Account Leads and Partners.
- Negotiate access to partner spaneting channels to increase Emirates Skywards brand presence and position Skywards Miles as the airlines loyalty currency.
- Manage the CCMB campaign briefing process in collaboration with the Partnership Account Leads and Partners.
- Review campaign performance against Partnerships KPIs and business case projections. Collaborate with the Partnerships Account Leads and CCMB to develop and share campaign reflection insights and learnings to optimize future campaign planning.
- Develop and leverage cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the Skywards Partnerships, Commercial, Product, Member Engagement and Strategy Enablement teams, CCMB and Partners; sharing partnership activation expertise, identifying relevant growth and engagement opportunities and driving synergies.
- Mentor direct reports within the Partnerships Activation team to drive a high-performance culture.
SPECIFIC
Skywards Everyday Product & Marketing Management Portfolio
- Develop and align the annual Skywards Everyday activations strategy with the Manager Partnerships Activation, Skywards Everyday Account Leads, Skywards Infinity team, Partners and CCMB to exponentially scale monthly active users, app engagement and revenue contribution.
- Manage the Skywards Everyday notifications, engagement and campaign calendar for the portfolio in alignment with CCMB, Skywards Everyday Account Leads and Skywards Infinity team.
- Build and own collaborative relationships with Skywards Everyday partner spaneting teams to position and drive Emirates Skywards as a leading lifestyle loyalty brand. Contribute to incremental programme revenue contribution from active member acquisition from partner channels.
- Lead the Skywards Everyday app evolution through targeted tactics, and gamification strategies in collaboration with Skywards Everyday, Skywards Infinity and CCMB teams.
- Leverage strategic relationships with Dubai Economy and Tourism and Visa to co-develop activation strategies, secure partner investment and access to paid media, ATL and digital spaneting channels. Collaborate with the strategic partners and CCMB on creative development, campaign metrics, KPI setting, performance evaluation and budgeting.
- Drive co-brand acquisition and spends by leveraging Skywards Everyday as an enabler. Grow co-brand cardholder engaged base to over 80.
- Review app engagement data in collaboration with the Partnership Account Leads, CCMB and Skywards Infinity teams to inform optimisation of campaigns and communications.
- Conduct partner visits in collaboration with the Partnership Account Leads to identify and leverage spaneting opportunities, drive product education and build relationships.
- Lead the business case stream for Emirates funded and strategic activation and engagement initiatives.
QualificationTo be considered for this role you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree or Honours in Marketing (12+3 or equivalent).
- 5+ years experience in Commercial/Sales or similar.
- Experience in Marketing related field.
- Corporate Brand Marketing or Marketing agency experience preferred.
- Self-motivated, independent, proactive and highly organised with the ability to prioritise objectively.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills. Adaptable and able to work under pressure.
- Robust understanding of the spaneting framework, tools, channels and reporting.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
